Weatherford Canterbury Table
Weatherford was inspired by an old farmhouse and the weathered wooden fence around it. This solid wood dining table brings that casual, timeless farmhouse style into the home and features our Kinguard performance finish to keep it looking great. The Canterbury Dining Table includes two 20 inch leaves to extend from 78 inches to 98 or 118 inches. It also comes with an optional center support leg for those big family gatherings to keep the fully extended table perfectly level under a feast!
Inspired by the casual surroundings of the American farmhouse, Kincaid’s Weatherford collection blends timeless simple style with exceptional craftsmanship. Weatherford is a Kincaid original and is made from solid New Zealand Pine. It takes a number of design and construction techniques from the early wood workers. One example is the uneven board lay-up that shows off the individual pieces of solid wood that make up each part of the furniture.
Weatherford combines the best of modern furniture features with the authentic benefits of solid wood in an heirloom-quality construction. Notable features include the Kincaid Soft-Close drawer system. Kincaid also utilizes the best of the old-world construction techniques such as English Dovetails, mortise and tenon construction, floating tops and panels, full dust proofing, and multi-step hand-rubbed finishes.

About Kincaid Furniture
It’s been said that “things aren’t made the way they used to be,” but at Kincaid, that’s not exactly true. While several enhancements have been made since our beginnings in 1946, we still use solid wood construction, english dovetails, and hand rubbed finishes to craft our wood furniture. And the same can be said for our upholstery. Over the past 30 years, our upholstery operations in western North Carolina have built quality, bench made upholstery one piece at a time.
